On-Campus Visits: Health and Safety

For the health and safety of our visitors and campus community, we have implemented safety measures that align with the Chicago Department of Health’s orders. Please be prepared to follow these protocols during your visit:

  • Please note that all on-campus visitors and their guests will be required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster (booster required only if eligible). Verification can be provided in the form of their physical vaccination card or a photo of their card, along with a photo ID. The names on the vaccination card and photo ID must match each other.
  • Each tour is limited to one student plus two guests.
  • Since children under the age of 5 are not yet eligible to be vaccinated for COVID-19, they cannot be permitted to join campus visits at this time.
  • If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you enjoy one of our virtual events or view our facilities videos instead of visiting campus.
  • Visitors from out of state should follow the city of Chicago guidelines in the Emergency Travel order.
  • All visitors are expected to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times. Note: Bandanas, neck gaiters, knitted masks, and masks with exhalation vents are not approved face coverings for use on campus.
  • Visitors should maintain social distancing measures by keeping a minimum of 6 feet in between themselves and their student tour guide.
  • Not all of our academic facilities are currently viewable. We will do our best to accommodate each visitor, but we cannot guarantee access to all spaces.
